The Charak Center is a wonderful place to be if you're serious about recovery in a sober lifestyle. I've met some really great people, staff and fellow clients alike. I'm treated as a normal human and not like a mental case addict, which is a refreshing change from other places I've tried. The truest form of health care and compassion is shown in the Charak Center and I appreciate the care I've received. Thanks to them, I'm on a firm path to living the life I've wanted for so long.

I'm happy with my ongoing treatment staff members are kind and very considerate I actually look forward to group my case manager also has been very helpful and understanding. I feel truly blessed for my recovery and working on being a better person by going to meetings and staying humble.

This place has saved my life. They cover all areas at one facility. I have been going there for 3 years and would highly recomend them. If you are willing and ready to receive help... They are there to help you with your journey.

The Charak center treats me very well. Everyone is respectful. I like everyone I work with, Lilly, Jackie, Dr. Ann Marie, Rachel, Miss Margret. I get along well with everyone. Group is fun, I like everyone in my group.

Their services are so amazing!! The case management staff helps with EVERYTHING! But they are a well-rounded facility. I see both psych and addiction specialist in doctors there. I am so happy I started services with them about a month ago. I definitely recommend them to anybody suffering with mental health or addiction issues.

I've been seeking assistance with scheduling and getting to appointments for many months. Charak has been great at helping me to improve my overall health and well-being by helping me keep up with appointments, which has contributed to me feeling better. Lilly has most recently been my Case Manager and has been very courteous as well as punctual.

The Charak Center has helped me so much since I’ve been seeking treatment for my mental health. They truly have given me hope, and the staff here are so very kind and understanding. My health, coping skills and confidence has gotten increasingly better since I started therapy. Since I started treatment there have been a few different doctors that came and gone so I’ve seen many which was kind of uncomfortable for me. Charak center and their Case management has offered me outstandingly helpful information and guidance throughout my treatment and I appreciate everything they do for me. My case manager Dymond Caver, specifically shows commitment to helping me in every way possible and cares a lot about my improvement, whether it be taking me to important places to take care of stuff I need or to and from my appointments, they’re always there to help me. Nearly anything you can think of they can do! Case management and therapy has given me more motivation in life than ever before and I finally look forward to feeling more alive.

I have been a patient of Dr Ranjan for over two years now. This center offers a wide variety of professional services that can serve as a one-stop shop for mental health needs. From what I’ve seen, all patients are treated with respect and the same level of care, regardless of insurance or diagnosis. I’m feel very lucky (and much healthier) to have found Dr Ranjad and Charic. Please keep up the great work. It’s very important to this community.

I was introduced to Charak by my girlfriend and have enjoyed taking the time to get to know myself and what I need to maintain stable mental health. I have gotten to know Dr. Ann Marie for counseling, Dr. Bhandari for medication monitoring and Jackie and Krystal for case management. Although I've only been there a short time, I feel very supported especially by Krystal and Jackie. They are always willing to go out of their way no matter what to either fit me in or help me locate services and/or resources that I need. Can't thank them enough for all their support. #chickenfries

I have been with Charak for almost 3 years and I consider that home away from home. I was diagnosed in 2016 with having Bipolar and Dr. Bhandari has my medication down to a T and I feel amazing. He's awesome. I also feel very very supported by case managers Jackie and Krystal. They are truly awesome. I can always count on them to be there for whatever I need and are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I have what I need or are always able to help locate resources or information that will assist in finding resolves to any problems I may have. They are always calling to check on me which I sincerely appreciate. Both my boyfriend and I are clients of Charak and enjoy feeling supported by the agency.

I've had a great experience at Charak. The therapist and case managers are all great and really seem to care.

Making the decision to go to Charak was one of my better choices. I love this place. The staff are all friendly and patient. They have a lot to offer here. I go for mental health and love my doctor and his staff. The people at the front desk are always smiling and pleasant which makes going there easy. My girlfriend is going there for their alcohol and drug program and from my point of view it is helping her tremendously.

I have struggled w addiction most of my adult life. Going in & out of treatment & always relapsing. Not because the treament facility failed but because i didnt learn the tools needed to become a strong, complete person. I still fight addiction & at times i am frail & small. Today is different because now i am shown & given tools for survival! I have never had treament like i am getting at Charak. I am being taught how to fight & mentally being prepared to be a soldier in this battle with addiction. It is complete treatment. Not just one aspect of me but all of me. I am very blessed to have found Charak!

This place is the best choice for all in one place mental health treatment. 1000 times better than The Nord Center by far in all measures. My therapist is an actual Psychologist with a PhD not just a cpst. When you are with Case Management you have the option of walk in appointments with a in office Case Manager on top of a Case Mangager/Worker that can and will come to you and take you anywhere you need from medical/mental appointments, necessitay shopping, pharmacy, the post office, pretty much virtually any where you need that they can help with that you need help with . Along with knowlage to help with any important paperwork as in disability, Job and Family services, insurance, college/school, and so on. They will help fill out fourms, make calls or apply for/with you. They are truly life savers and real and easy to connect with.I tried with the Psychatrist Doctor for meds but since I do not need any or to be on any psych meds currently they told me to call for an appointment or walk in if in crisis at any time if needed. They do, do urine test mandatory in the beginning then random ones and expected ones depending on the patient to check levels. At least they are very understanding if you cannot go after trying to go a few times. They even have a Crisis Unit like Nord Center. PHP group therapy 5 times a week, and DBT group therapy 2 times a week. Along with a bus transportation to pick you up and bring you to Charak as long you call and schedule by 8 pm the night before you need to come in or the option of an advailble case management worker to come and personally pick you up if needed. They also do any and all diagnosis testing in house and if you have any possible diagnosis or need rediagnosis or been misdiagnosis they will gladly do it once you request it or they feel like it may be needed or concerned about the accuracy of the diagnosis and test futher into it if more in depth testing is needed,and an added bonus is that they have a test for Post Concussion if you have the unfortunate luck to have gotten a concussion rather it be a slight, mild, moderate or severe concussion, and take that into any changed behavior or mental status after they make sure you have recieved medical attention and been cleared. Over all I am relieaved and beyond thankful and unimaginably greatful for The Charak Center and the help and resources I have recieved, which there is apparently more they offer along with 4 other locations other than the Elyria, OH location making 5 locations in total.

Charak helps me get groceries and the people are friendly. They try and get me to the doctors as best they can. I'm glad for these guys. I'm happy. Cuz I struggle and I can't get things done without their help. If it wasn't for these guys, I don't know where I'd be and I mean it.

I have been coming to Charek Center for a little over 2 years. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to help if you are in a bind.The only down fall is that sometimes the wait can be overwhelming but other than that I have no complaints. I would recommend Charek to both family and friends.

I've been helped greatly with my mental issues since I've been going to the Charak Center. Case managers all are wonderful. They're always there to help you, anything you need help with it. I would recommend the Charak Center to anyone who has mental issues that need to be addressed.

I want to first of all say that all the employees do everything that they say they're going to do. I'm real impressed with that. Every time I leave a message I get a response. Until the last couple days, I'm happy with the transportation. It's on time most of the time and they call ahead of time. The way I feel, I feel that the counselors are genuine about what they tell me. That's from the guy at the front desk all the way up. I'm real pleased with everyone I've been in contact with. I'm also impressed with the services they offer, like going to food banks, rides to court, and basically they made it comfortable for me to ask for what I need. That's really cool. I like the groups a lot, and the therapists too.

I like the help and the support that I get. My case manager has been especially helpful, and I enjoy coming to the groups. My therapist and doctor are good people.

Charek center for health n wellness in Elyria has helped me TREMENDOUSLY !!!! I would b DEAD without my doctors, counselors n case manager... they have changed my life 100% mentally, physically and emotionally. They also helped me with my drug/alcohol addiction. I am a better person, mother, daughter, sister, neice and friend because they helped make me into the person i always wanted to be. I was a complete MESS next to my death bed when I went there a year ago n I'm a completely different person now no drugs, no alcohol and MENTALLY STABLE i can maintain a job, sobriety, my home and my parenting THANK U CHAREK CENTER FOR HEALTH N WELLNESS!!!! ELYRIA OFFICE ROCKS!!!

After reading the reviews, I felt like I just had to write. Yes, at times, there are waits, but then again I wait for hours at other doctors, too. I have noticed that beginning last July things got better and better. There seemed to be a hiccup at the beginning of this year but things are still okay. Wait times went down a whole lot. They are a little up but I just bring my cell phone and a book when I wait. They have a talented treatment team, and as for turnover, I have seen some come and go but for the most part the staff is the same, and they are caring.

my fiancé goes here since Nov they have helped him with the death of his father & his addiction he has been clean every since starting there & has the staff to thank a lot for that they r always there when he needs them & have been very supportive even the bus drivers go out ta there way w rides or just to talk thank you charak for changing r lives., especially thanks to Kim,Patti,Paul,Darryl,Nikki,Dr.Sabo,Mathew,& group counselor Susan,& office staff

Charak center for addiction management does exactly what they say they'll do which is helping people conquer their addictions. They keep you accountable for your recovery and the staff is warm and understanding.
