I'ts been 12 years clean. I came to the clinic, about to be homeless, not caring about myself or anything. I had no connection with my son, my mom and dad, and I had nobody to rely on because my wife Katy was addicted also, and she wasn't aloud to see our son, or her own mother. She got on the clinic first, then a month later I got on. The first week I got on this clinic, I got my job, my drivers license, and a car....THE FIRST WEEK!!!!!! This clinic saved our lives and restored our family to a NORMAL FUNCTIONING LIFE. It's not that hard to be on this clinic, and it won't take up a lot of your time. I'm a working client and still have time to do everything necessary to remain compliant. WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY!!!! We both feel great! THANK YOU C.A.A.A. I would have been dead.

I've been a client at CAAA for almost 3 years, Sober for 2years and 3 months, and I can honestly say the program has changed my life! I made an account so I can clear up some bad reviews while staying somewhat anonymous. Now do yourself a favor. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. After all, we are addicts, going through the toughest times of our lives, and some may not like being told what to do. Check out the positive reviews like Kelly's, Roxanne's, and Angela's. They are not lying to you. Sure at first while you are getting off street and pharmaceutical drugs, you may not want to be there, you may not want to go to groups, you may not want to talk to the counselors, and the program is a real pain to deal with! But it gets better and Much eaiser within weeks. From my observation this is where most clients have the hardest times and this is where most of your negative reviews are coming from. Once again, from observation many clients don't know how to properly express their feelings in a professional manner and end up flipping out on a poor counselor or security guard. Then come here to write a bad review. Once again, I've been clean now for over 2 years, have take homes, only go once a week for my group meeting (the group is awesome) and once a month to my counselor. It's very simple, if you do what you're told, attend your meetings, fulfill your obligations, and be a good client. You WILL NOT be put on "stop" and you will not spend more than an hour the once a week. JUST DO WHAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO DO!!!! With that said, CAAA does have their own internal issues and my road to recovery did not go with out any bumps. But you know what, instead of flipping out on a security guard, I brought the issue to the proper channels and I even met with the CEO on more than one occasion whom is the nicest human being I think I've ever met. The 2 higher ups you take your issues to are big on clients advocating for themselves and will gladly sit down with you. A lot of times, they have no idea about the issues happening on "floor" and are glad to hear about them to implement change. NEW CLIENTS, here are a few helpful tips I wish I would have know before becoming a client. 1. Do what you are told, I can't express this enough. It'll ensure you have a plesant experience at CAAA 2. Find a group you like and speak your mind. Everyone there has similar stories and are going through the same pains. They are not there to judge you but will instead help you. Preferably join a group with Mr. Watkins as the counselor. He is an amazing man who cares about you, and will give you the best advice and knowledge for proper recovery. 3. Make appointments for everything. Don't wait to be put on "stop" or just show up and ask to see the Dr or a counselor. You will be waiting a long time. If you make an appointment, you come first. 4. There is a newer group\individual counselor to avoid especially at the beginning of your sobriety. I won't name them, but you will know who they are because they will mention their background in prison counseling to you numerous times a day. They don't understand that you're not a prisoner and you are a client\human being with rights. The person is highly unprofessional, has no personal ethics, and simply lacks integrity. Numerous other clients will tell you the same thing. Simply ask the proper channel to switch your group or ask for a new individual counselor. 5. Sobriety and recovery is not easy, and it's tough transitioning to a new environment while getting sober. Just hang in there, I promise it gets easier with time. Once you figure out the ropes at CAAA your life will change for the best and you can start living a normal life while recovering in the most efficient manner possible. From everyone to Nursing, group counselors, individual counselors, security, managers, and the ceo, thank you for saving my life and the lives of many others the best you can!

It saved my life!! I continue getting the help I have needed my whole life. My counselor and her supervisor care about me, I really believe that deep in my heart. Matter of fact my counselor of (4+) four plus years told me she loved me one session, it felt so good to hear that from her!!! I have no family or friends left who did love and care about me.

I hate this place, while helping people with opiate addictions, they are in no hurry to help detox these individuals after years and years of dosing them, while increasing people's doses.

Methadone clinic, one of only two in Cleveland. Generally good to clients, but they still carry on the stigma against addicts without even noticing it. There is currently no wait list (2/12/18) but you must have insurance. Maximum daily self pay is $14.00 per day for those without insurance.

This organization is extremely helpful for people with addiction issues. This is a methadone clinic. Methadone is used to help people get off of heroin and opioids. The methadone build up in one's body and blocks the receptors from feeling any Euphoria from these drugs. If some used while on this methadone program they wouldn't be able to get high at all so it works! This program savedy life! I'm very grateful that this place exists in Cleveland, OH!!!
